Shape the future of A Level provision in a growing, ambitious college! We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Teaching and Learning Manager for A Levels and Access to HE to join our team at an exciting point in development. As a central figure, you will lead and develop our A Level and Access to HE provision, working closely with the Head of Learning to ensure high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, strong student progress and a curriculum offer that meets the needs of our students and local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading on the day-to-day operations of the A Level provision, working in line with a yearly schedule of events
- Delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and outstanding support for students
- Leading of ensuring students make strong progress, in line with ALPs value add
- Contributing to all curriculum planning processes, including curriculum intent statements and timetabling
- Providing advice and support into new developments to broaden the curriculum offer, for example V Levels, including input from our community, employers and stakeholders
- Undertaking activities to support the recruitment of students, including attending open events and other events as required by the Head of Learning
- Contributing to the effective recruitment and retention of teaching, delivery and support staff, supporting the staff team with a coaching approach
Qualifications & Skills
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. Certificate in Education, PGCE, Level 5 Diploma in Teaching)
- Proven record of teaching and assessment to a consistently high standard, including the use of technology within A Level provision
- Teaching experience within Further Education
- Up to date knowledge of curriculum and teaching and learning, proven through continuing professional development
- An understanding of equal opportunity, safeguarding obligations and health and safety, relating to students and curriculum delivery
- Ability to communicate to a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally, in writing and through online tools

Chichester College Group have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Teaching & Learning Manager A Levels at our Chichester College campus. You will join us on a full time permanent basis. In return, we will offer a competitive salary pro rata of £44,630 - £48,774 per annum. 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
