Are you an experienced and passionate beauty therapy professional looking to inspire the next generation of beauty therapists? Brighton MET College is seeking a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join our vibrant and professional Hair and Beauty team and help shape our students' future careers in this exciting industry.
In this role you will undertake teaching and assessing activities ensuring a high quality of provision. You will also work collaboratively and innovatively with managers and colleagues to design, develop, and review programmes in the curriculum area. In addition, you will ensure that student needs are met in a responsive way in line with the concept of inclusive learning.
You should hold a Level 4 in Beauty Therapy including laser & IPL along with Level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy. You must also hold a teaching and assessing qualification or be willing to work towards these qualifications within 2 years. We are always looking for people from industry to get into teaching, whether you have teaching experience or not.
We offer a fully funded Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship, and other alternative options. Our roles are designed with adaptability in mind and support part‑time roles, job shares, and flexible working arrangements to accommodate caring responsibilities or personal goals.
