Worthing College, part of the Chichester College Group, is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic teacher of A Level French (AQA) to continue to develop and enhance our A Level languages offer.
You will be joining a successful group of experienced teachers in the wider team which includes Spanish, Humanities, Business and Travel & Tourism. The MFL department and wider team work closely together, and you will be fully supported by the team in day-to-day teaching and collaborate in all aspects of the role.
The post will include teaching A Level French for years 12 and 13. It is currently taught in two days per week, but this could be negotiable.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Relevant subject experience, teaching Level 3 French
- Education to degree level in French
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive and flexible approach, with a willingness to learn new skills and processes
Further hours are currently available within our French Language Assistant role at Worthing College, which is currently advertised, if desired. There may also be an opportunity for further hours in a Teacher of French role at the Group’s Haywards Heath college.
