We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Records Administrator to join the team on a part-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,598 - £24,695 per annum, pro rata.
The Student Records Administrator Role
As our Student Records Administrator, you will play a vital role in the student journey at college. You will enroll students onto their courses throughout the year and provide advice and guidance in-person, over the phone, and online. You will process and input a variety of data, including enrolment fees, student achievements, attendance, and timetables, all essential to the college\'s operation and students\' education experience.
Key Responsibilities of Our Student Records Administrator
- Processing student registration forms and entering data into the Management Information System (MIS).
- Enrolling students throughout the year, checking forms, receiving and receipting fees, entering and amending data in the system.
- Processing data related to achievements and attendance.
- Maintaining timetables and registers in the MIS and collaborating with staff on timetables and issue resolution.
- Researching and resolving invoice-related queries, generating correspondence, and following up to resolution.
- Maintaining records on the MIS, processing withdrawals, transfers, fee adjustments, and undertaking benefit checks.
- Producing reports and data extracts from the MIS system.
- Experience with Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Customer service experience in a public-facing role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- GCSE grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
- Strong IT and keyboard skills, including email use.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiences.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Customer service skills.
