Role summary:
We are recruiting a Pastoral Support Tutor to provide pastoral and academic support to full‑time learners on a one‑to‑one and group basis, including weekly tutorial sessions. The role focuses on motivating students to achieve their full potential and ensuring a fulfilling experience at college.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver pastoral and academic support to individual learners and groups.
- Conduct weekly tutorial sessions as part of the tutorial programme.
- Set targets with students and monitor progress to tight deadlines.
- Manage time efficiently and organise work to meet student needs.
- Understand and address the support needs of each learner.
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting students in an educational setting.
- Strong motivation and proactive approach to student development.
- Proven ability to set targets, work to deadlines and manage time and organisation effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
