Chichester College Group have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Rock Climbing Instructor at our Chichester College campus. You will join us on a variable hours basis. In return, we will offer a competitive salary of £23.82 per hour.
The Rock Climbing Instructor role: Chichester College Sports Centre is seeking to recruit a fully qualified Rock Climbing Instructor to teach between our four walls based at Chichester, Midhurst, Bognor Regis, and Hayling. You will hold a recognised Mountain training qualification; Climbing Wall Instructor, Rock Climbing Instructor or higher. The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all ages and levels is essential, as is experience of assessing, training and coaching, including working with students or children. There are no guaranteed minimum hours of work for this post. Please refer to the terms and conditions page within the job description for further details.
Key Responsibilities of our Rock Climbing Instructor:
- To assist with the re-routing/general maintenance of the climbing wall including monthly checks of the equipment used.
- To assess users to ensure that they are capable and have sufficient knowledge to use the climbing wall safely.
