Learning Support Assistant – Pro rata salary of £26,238 per annum; 32 hours per week, 36 weeks per year.
Responsibilities- Provide support to students with additional help across various areas within the college, creating positive relationships and assisting them in classroom or workshop settings.
- This includes students with learning difficulties, disabilities, emotional, social, behavioural and mobility needs, ensuring a rewarding and fulfilling experience.
- Experience in working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
- Effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English at grade C/4 or above.
- Local Government Pension Scheme – 20.4% contribution of pensionable pay.
- 25 days annual leave (increasing to 28 days with continuous service) plus bank holidays and college closure days, with option to purchase up to 5 additional days.
