Learning Assistant

As our Learning Assistant you will:
- Build positive, supportive relationships with students, helping them with their studies across the college and promoting inclusion, independence and confidence.
- Provide them with one on one or group support in a classroom or workshop setting. This will include students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural and mobility needs.
- Assist with personal care and administering medication where needed.
- Ensure our students’ have a rewarding and fulfilling experience at college.

What you will bring to the role:
- Experience working with students, particularly those with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, emotional, social and behavioural needs.
- Ability to communicate to a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally and in writing.
- An ability to work in a confidential manner.
- Knowledge of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
