Crawley College, part of the Chichester College Group, is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Maths/English Lecturer to join our Learning Support Department. You will play a pivotal role in supporting students with special educational needs, teaching both Maths and English at Functional Skills (Entry Level) and GCSE.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping students of all backgrounds and abilities to build confidence and make progress in their studies.
- Providing sessions in life skills such as employability and social confidence.
- Supporting the department with the review cycle of the students.
- Assessing for exam access arrangements, if qualified.
The job is varied and fast-paced, requiring a can-do attitude and flexibility to best support our students. You will need to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy for record keeping.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 2 or above in English and Maths.
- Experience working with challenging young people.
- PAPAA (Exam Access Arrangements Assessing) or willingness to work towards it.
