Chichester College, part of the Chichester College Group has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Lecturer in Creative Media Production based in Chichester. You will join us on a part‑time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary pro rata of £27,785 - £43,325 per annum (i.e £11,114 - £17,330).

14.8 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Lecturer in Creative Media Production Role

Chichester College are looking for an experienced Creative Media Production Lecturer to join our team in delivering UAL Level 2 & 3, as well as our successful T level programme.

As our Lecturer in Creative Media Production, you will have a broad set of skills covering most areas of media production and should have a strong working knowledge of the Adobe suite of programmes including Premiere and After Effects. We would also welcome candidates who have experience in Unreal Engine and LED studios.

We have some fantastic facilities to bring teaching to life, including three TV studios, a podcasting studio and print rooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.
  • Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.
  • Undertaking administration and providing reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.
  • Taking an active role in the achievement of high individual student retention and success rates, meeting or surpassing the relevant targets for each.
  • Developing curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity.
  • Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.

Ideal Candidate: Skills and Experience

  • Level 3 (or equivalent) in related subject
  • Level 2 literacy and numeracy
  • Relevant subject experience
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects (Adobe CC)
  • Working knowledge of cameras
  • Strong technical skills in creative media
