Salary: Pro rata of £25,598 per annum.

Hours: Various part‑time; 36 weeks per year.

About the role: We are recruiting Learning Assistants to support students requiring additional help with their studies in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Motorsport. You will build positive relationships, assist students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities – including emotional, social, behavioural and mobility needs – in classroom or workshop settings. Your work will help ensure our students have an outstanding and fulfilling experience at college.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support students requiring additional help with their studies in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Motorsport.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students.
  • Assist students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural, and mobility needs.
  • Provide support in both classroom and workshop settings.
  • Ensure students experience an outstanding and fulfilling learning environment.

Qualifications & experience:

  • Experience working with young people with additional learning needs and disabilities is essential.
  • Effective organisational, interpersonal skills.
  • Any additional relevant qualifications will be considered favourable.
