Chichester College Group have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Exam Invigilator at our Chichester campus. You will join us on a bank basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £14.61 per hour.
The Exam Invigilator role:
Are you looking for a flexible role that could fit around your current schedule and enable you to earn additional income?
Chichester College is recruiting for bank Exam Invigilators, who will invigilate both paper and online examinations.
You will maintain the internal examination processes necessary during examination periods to ensure compliance with the Joint Council s Instructions for the Conduct of Examinations. You will ensure procedures are adhered to for the correct management of students before, during and on completion of examinations in liaison with the Examinations Office.
Key Responsibilities
- To invigilate online and paper based examinations in accordance with relevant examining board procedures.
- To regulate exam proceedings to exam board specifications.
- Ensure procedures are adhered to for the correct management of students before, during and on completion of examinations in liaison with the Examinations Office.
- Organising an examination room.
There are no guaranteed minimum hours of work for this post.
Our ideal Exam Invigilator should have the following skills and experience:
- GCSE grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Experience working with students/young people
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Accurate, methodical approach to work
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
