Chichester College is seeking a Teaching and Learning Manager for our GCSE English and Maths department. The role oversees provision for adult learners returning to education as well as our learners resitting GCSEs. While GCSE Maths and English are delivered within curriculum teams, the Teaching and Learning Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of teaching and learning in every lesson.
We are looking for a forward‑thinking, dynamic manager who can drive quality improvement while working closely with other Teaching and Learning Managers across the College. Our Teaching and Learning Manager will have extensive experience of the GCSE system, a strong background in managing staff, and a clear commitment to continually raising standards to ensure that all learners receive consistently high‑quality teaching and learning. Experience of working with exam boards, using data to inform improvement, and getting the best out of individuals and teams would be a distinct advantage.
