We are looking for an experienced and passionate beauty therapy professional to inspire the next generation of beauty therapists, nail technicians, and make‑up artists. The role offers part‑time permanent employment with a competitive salary pro rata and Crawley Weighting Allowance.
Career payment:
- 30 hours per week (pro rata of £27,785‑£43,325 per annum, i.e. £22,528.38‑£35,128.38) + £494.66 Crawley Weighting Allowance per annum
- 22.5 hours per week (pro rata of £27,785‑£43,325 per annum, i.e. £16,896.28‑£26,346.28) + £370.99 Crawley Weighting Allowance per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake teaching and learning activities as agreed.
- Prepare learning materials and conduct assessments and assignments in a timely manner.
- Perform administration and provide reports and statistics about student and teaching matters.
- Contribute to curricular development, considering literacy and numeracy, equality, and diversity.
- Understand safeguarding responsibilities.
- Stay updated on current issues, changes, and policies in the educational sector.
Ideal Skills and Experience
- Level 3 (or equivalent) in a related subject.
- Relevant industrial/commercial subject experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups.
- Time‑management, organisational skills, and ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Innovative and creative approach to learning needs.
- Obtain an appropriate teaching qualification as defined by the corporation.
