Are you looking to start a rewarding career in education, supporting students in a part time role that can fit around your personal life and responsibilities? As a Learning Assistant, you will support students requiring additional help with their programmes of study across various areas within College, creating positive relationships with them and assisting them in a classroom or workshop setting. This will include students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural and mobility needs. The work you do as a Learning Assistant will ensure our students have a rewarding and fulfilling experience at college.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have experience of working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities, as well as effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. A GCSE (or equivalent) in English at grade C/4 or above is also essential.
