Lecturer in Sociology [Ref: CC6104]

Location: Chichester 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

We are recruiting a Teacher of Sociology to join the Business, Learning and Development curriculum at Chichester College. The successful candidate will deliver A-Level Sociology, support curriculum delivery and development, maintain high teaching standards, and work collaboratively within an established teaching team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver A-Level Sociology and support learner outcomes.
  • Contribute to curriculum design, delivery and assessment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching quality and student support.
  • Maintain a high standard of teaching and learning practice.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Teaching qualifications and a degree in a Sociology-related subject.
  • Experience teaching at a similar level would be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of the A-Level Sociology syllabus.
  • Commercial experience and/or experience in Criminology would be advantageous.
