Senior Learning Support Assistant in Brighton

Make a real difference to the lives and achievements of learners with SEND while leading and developing a dedicated Learning Support team.

As our Senior Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide learners with a high level of learning support needed to achieve their programme of study.
• Focus on and take an active role in the achievement of high individual learner attendance and success rates, meeting or surpassing the relevant targets for each.
• Support the ALS Team Leader in the co-ordination and quality of the LSA provision and Learning Support provision.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience of supporting 16 - 18-year-olds
• Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice (2015)
• Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
