An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding fashion practitioner to join our vibrant and high-performing Creative Industries team at Brighton MET. We are seeking a Lecturer with Course Leader responsibility for our highly successful Level 3 Fashion Design & Business Diploma and Extended Diploma. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate, industry-informed professional who is committed to inspiring the next generation of fashion creatives.

You will play a central role in delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to a cohort of engaged and ambitious students. Through your expertise and enthusiasm, you will motivate learners, nurture their creative potential and prepare them for progression into higher education or employment within the fashion and wider creative industries. Within this role you will contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement and the continued success and reputation of the programme.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong subject knowledge across fashion design, textiles and fashion business
  • A commitment to student-centred, inclusive teaching
  • Enthusiasm for contemporary and sustainable practice
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a creative team
  • Level 3 (or equivalent) in a related subject
