Brighton MET College is seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable Associate Lecturer to deliver the UAL Level 4 Professional Diploma in Creative Enterprise, a unique qualification that equips students with the business acumen, creative thinking, and professional skills needed to thrive in today’s creative industries.
In this role you will design and deliver high-quality teaching sessions across units including creative business planning, professional practice, project development, and enterprise skills. You will mentor and guide a diverse cohort of Level 4 learners – many of whom are transitioning from creative practice into professional life – helping them to develop both their creative identities and their commercial confidence.
Working within a supportive and dynamic curriculum team, you will contribute to course planning, assessment, and quality assurance, while maintaining industry links that enrich the student experience. Your work will directly shape the next generation of creative professionals, entrepreneurs, and cultural leaders.
Qualifications
- A degree (or equivalent professional experience) in a relevant creative discipline such as Graphic Design, Fine Art, Fashion, Media, Film, Photography, Illustration, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience working within the creative industries, either as a practitioner, entrepreneur, or business professional.
- Understanding of the commercial and enterprise aspects of creative practice, including business models, branding, client management, and professional development.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally and in writing.
