Pastoral Support Tutor

As our Pastoral Support Tutor, you will:

provide?pastoral and academic support to our?full-time?learners on a 1:1 and group basis, including weekly sessions of the Personal Development Programme.
support and motivate our students to achieve their full potential at college, ensuring they have an outstanding and fulfilling experience at college.
take an active role in the achievement of high individual student attendance and success rates, meeting or surpassing the relevant targets for each.

What you will bring to the role:

Experience of delivering learning advice to students in a 1:1 or group situation.
Understanding of the study needs of and progression opportunities of 1618-year-olds.
Administrative experience, including the use of Microsoft applications, including creating sessions to be delivered in Personal Development Program.
Confident to deliver to a group of students on Personal Development topics on a weekly basis, with engaging activities to support engagement.
Self-motivation with the ability to be innovative and to display initiative.

The working pattern for this role will be Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm (with an hour lunch break) and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
