Chichester College Group has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Assessor Trainer for Education and Childcare based in Chichester??????. You will join us on a part-time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of pro rata of £24,791 - £25,935 per annum (i.e. £12,395.50 - £12,967.50). This role is for fixed term period of maternity cover for a maximum of one year, or the return, resignation or replacement of the current post holder, whichever is sooner. The Assessor Trainer for Education and Childcare Role: We are recruiting for a part time Assessor Trainer in Childcare and Education to join our friendly T Level team. We are looking for an individual with a desire to make a difference in this important sector. Key Responsibilities of our Assessor Trainer for Education and Childcare: Supporting the learners’ development of vocational competence and the wider skills that relate to employability. Training and/or assessing learners within the relevant vocational area to awarding organisation standards in a timely manner. Supporting and/or leading on classroom based activities to extend learners’ knowledge and understanding of assessment criteria. Agreeing a training programme of development and assessment, setting realistic but challenging goals that meet the learners’ needs. This will be in collboration with the course team and industry workplacement officer. Actively listening, providing feedback and engaging learners in planning their individualised training programme through coaching and mentoring; supporting the delivery and achievement of additional qualifications as required. Assessing learners’ competence in relation to work-related/industry standards.
