Housekeeper in Kensington

Housekeeper or Ex-yacht Stewardess required to join a friendly household in Kensington, working 40 hours a week on a live-out basis Monday to Friday.
This is a family of 4 with 2 little dogs; the children (15 years old) are at boarding school, returning at weekends and school holidays only.

Your duties as the housekeeper will include but not be limited to:

1. All high-level housekeeping and cleaning daily
2. Use of specialist cleaning products on furniture or fabrics
3. Polishing silverware
4. Organising cupboards
5. Ensuring household supplies are always stocked
6. Grocery shopping and running errands when required
7. Happy to prepare light meals (soup, salad, coffee, etc.) on occasion would be a big bonus!
8. Laundry and wardrobe management including ironing
9. Must be dog friendly
10. At least 3 full-time years of private household or yacht stewardess experience
11. Flexibility to travel on occasions (to Greece) during the summer would be advantageous but not a deal breaker

The family are down-to-earth and welcoming, and you would work as part of a small team.

They are looking for a housekeeper who loves their work, is friendly and enthusiastic. You will be passionate, hardworking, and loyal.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm x 3 days a week, 8am – 4pm 2 days a week
Location: Kensington W8
Salary: up to £42,000-£46,000 GPA DOE
