Chiaroscuro is looking for an experienced freelance pattern cutter to support the development of a womenswear evening wear project. The role involves translating an existing design concept into a clean, production-ready pattern, with a strong focus on fit, construction, and garment development.
Scope
- Pattern development from existing design and technical information
- Creation of a production-ready pattern
- Development sample/toile to assess fit and construction
- Collaboration throughout the fitting and development process
- Technical input where required to achieve the desired result
Requirements
- Experience in womenswear pattern cutting
- Strong understanding of fit and garment construction
- Experience developing fitted garments
- Ability to work from technical information and design references
- Good communication and organised workflow
