We’re supporting a leading international economics consultancy as they seek to appoint a Senior Economist to strengthen the growing competition practice. The team is recognised for its rigorous analysis and its role in guiding clients through complex antitrust and competition challenges across multiple markets and jurisdictions.
This position offers an exceptional platform for an accomplished economist to take on significant casework, collaborate with established specialists, and contribute meaningfully to the continued expansion of the practice.
Role
As a senior member of the competition team, you’ll work on technically demanding merger and antitrust matters while playing an important part in client engagement and strategic development. The role blends hands-on analytical delivery with leadership responsibilities and provides the scope to influence the direction of the group as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and shape the economic analysis underpinning major competition and antitrust assignments
- Oversee project teams, ensuring robust methodology, clear outputs, and smooth delivery
- Produce well-structured client reports and present insights with clarity and confidence
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients and external partners
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to capability-building across the team
