Associate Director (Forensic Disputes) – London (Hybrid) – Excellent Career Progression

Are you an experienced forensic accountant looking to step into a leadership role where you can shape the future of a growing disputes practice?

We're partnering with a highly respected national advisory firm to support their continued growth, as they look to appoint an Associate Director with strong experience in forensic disputes, expert witness work and commercial litigation support.

Role:

As an Associate Director, you'll play a key role in leading complex forensic disputes engagements, managing senior client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice. Alongside delivering exceptional client work, you'll support business development initiatives, mentor junior team members and help shape the strategic direction of an ambitious and expanding forensic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of complex expert witness and forensic advisory assignments from instruction through to completion.
  • Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring the highest standards of technical delivery and client service.
  • Prepare and review expert reports, financial models and complex financial analysis to support litigation and commercial disputes.
  • Advise clients on areas including quantification of loss, commercial disputes, business valuations and forensic investigations.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with legal professionals, corporate clients and other senior stakeholders.
  • Identify and support new business opportunities through networking, proposals and business development activities.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the forensic team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth of the practice through innovation, knowledge sharing and market development.

Key Skills:

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
  • Significant experience within forensic accounting, disputes, litigation support or expert witness services.
  • Proven expertise managing complex financial expert witness and advisory engagements from start to finish.
  • Strong experience in quantification of loss, commercial disputes and business valuations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of complex financial information.
  • Demonstrable experience building long‑term client relationships and contributing to business development.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial matters clearly to clients and legal professionals.
  • Proven leadership experience with a passion for mentoring and developing high‑performing teams.
