We're partnering with one of the UK's fastest-growing professional services firms to recruit experienced valuation professionals across Assistant Manager, Manager, Senior Manager, Associate Director and Director level. Joining a nationally recognised Valuations practice, you'll work alongside market-leading experts delivering high-quality valuation advice to a diverse client base. The team advises on a broad range of valuation engagements across financial reporting, tax, commercial transactions, disputes, regulatory matters and financial modelling, offering excellent exposure to technically challenging work and genuine long-term career progression.

Depending on your level, you'll take ownership of valuation engagements, develop strong client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of a highly respected national practice. You'll work across a varied portfolio of business and asset valuations, supporting clients through acquisitions, financial reporting requirements, tax matters, strategic transactions and shareholder events. As you progress through the senior grades, you'll also play an increasingly important role in business development, people leadership and shaping the future direction of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver business, share and asset valuation assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Prepare and review robust valuation models and reports using a range of recognised valuation methodologies.
  • Advise clients on valuations for financial reporting, tax, commercial transactions and regulatory purposes.
  • Support complex engagements including purchase price allocations, impairment testing, share-based payments, fund valuations and commercial valuations.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, lawyers, corporate finance advisers, tax specialists and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development through networking, proposals, pitches and identifying new opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the team while maintaining high technical standards.
  • Collaborate with specialists across Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Tax, Forensic and wider Advisory teams on multidisciplinary engagements.
Key Skills:
  • ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience within a professional services valuations team, corporate finance, transaction advisory or specialist valuation practice.
  • Strong technical understanding of business valuation methodologies including DCF, market multiples and other recognised approaches.
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Financial reporting valuations (IFRS, UK GAAP or US GAAP)
    • Purchase Price Allocations (PPA)
    • Impairment testing (IAS 36)
    • Tax valuations
    • Share-based payments (IFRS 2)
    • Commercial and shareholder valuations
    • Fund or portfolio valuations
    • Fairness opinions
    • Financial modelling
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex valuation issues clearly.
  • Demonstrable experience managing projects and building strong client relationships.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience appropriate to your level, with a passion for developing others.
