Warehouse Team Leader – PM Shift

Schedule: 13:30 – 22:00, 5 days on / 2 days off

Role Overview
We are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse operative based in Chesterfield to act as Team Leader on an afternoon shift pattern. Preferred candidates have prior management experience as a Team Leader, but this is not essential; consideration will be given to those who can step up into a TL role for the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with Warehouse Manager & Shift Manager to ensure daily targets are achieved.
- Ensure staff know what they are required to do, and that all SLAs are completed daily.
- Ensure staff work in a safe environment and all incidents are reported in a timely manner.
- Keep the warehouse clean and tidy, maintaining operational efficiency at all times.
- Monitor timekeeping and break times and ensure adherence.
- Motivate the team and monitor performance.
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Reliable and highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an environment requiring manual handling.
- Ability to adhere to Service Level Agreements and SOPs.
- Clear communication skills with a good command of written and verbal English.
- Conduct that reflects the values of the company.
