Due to rapid growth of the business, we are looking to recruit a Junior Data Analyst to:

  • Support the Data Analyst to develop insightful reports and key performance indicators for internal and external clients.
  • Support work to integrate and reconcile client-supplied data against internal datasets, and develop client-facing reports to support account management activity.
  • Assist the Data Analyst with third-party service provider requests and queries.
  • Develop and implement automated ETL and data exchange mechanisms to minimise manual activity and improve accuracy of reporting.
  • Assist the Data Analyst with a review of the current portfolio of reports and migration to Power BI where required.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to establish a rigorous process for reviewing report content prior to publication.
  • Undertake ad-hoc data analysis as required to support internal and/or client requests.

Essential skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience in data engineering, analysis & handling datasets.
  • Competent in manipulating data and presenting data outputs.
  • Good tactical knowledge of SQL Server.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable, not essential:

  • Experience of interacting with clients on a regular basis.
  • Experience in the development and management of reports & dashboards.
  • Experience using Power BI.
