Class 1 Drivers x 5 We are recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers to be based from out Chesterfield site to join our established and growing business which has a reputation for collaboration, innovation, and investment in its workforce.
As a Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for Night Trunking across the UK – delivering to 4 of our Regional Hubs – Warrington, Harlow, Birmingham and Motherwell.
Key duties will include: Take responsibility for loading and unloading of stock at our depots and cross dock centres Start times between 01.00hrs and 05.00hrs Requirement to be prepared to stay away from home on a “night out” on a regular basis - for which there will be an allowance in addition to your salary Conduct daily vehicle checks – reporting any defects Take responsibility for your vehicle and load while in your custody Adherence to Health
