We operate in several diverse vertical markets, delivering a range of connectivity solutions and consumables that help drive smart city transformation, innovation and productivity. The launch of our Final Mile solution was a key outcome of our recent business transformation. It has enabled us to support customers more effectively across logistics, asset tracking and lifecycle management.
CHH is embarking on a very ambitious growth period and as a consequence, is implementing significant change management programmes in order to future proof the business and provide solid foundations to continue this accelerated growth. The role of Business Development Manager is a key newly created position that will primarily focus on generating new business for all CHH's markets and be pivotal in identifying new sectors for the organisation. The role requires a strategic approach to Business Development driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing customer relationships.
Essential skills and attributes
- The ideal candidate will be a true hunter with a demonstrable track record of high value solution sales experience across multiple verticals.
- Experience within Water industry, Social Housing, Utilities or Facilities Management would be of particular interest.
- Capacity to demonstrate commercial gravitas, ability to identify potential areas for growth and target customers, coupled with a proven track record in growing and developing new business.
- Demonstrable record of exceeding sales/revenue targets in an environment with a long sales cycle.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close including prospecting, presenting, and creating compelling commercial propositions coupled with ongoing attention to detail throughout the customer onboarding process.
- Ability to present complex solutions and influence all levels of an organisation including Executive and C-level.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and an appreciation of the need to utilise these to their maximum potential.
- The ability to accurately and honestly forecast sales and revenue.
