About you:

  • Experience in working within a high volume hotel/restaurant kitchen is essential
  • Previous experience working as Head Chef or Sous Chef ready for promotion
  • Keep cool, calm and collected in a fast paced kitchen
  • Experience of all day dining is desirable
  • A keen eye for detail, organisational skills, sound knowledge of relevant standards and regulations

Aim of the Head Chef role: As Head Chef, you will be a natural leader able to deal with the pressure of running a busy operation at The Dining Room throughout the full day's service.

Key responsibilities of the Head Chef:

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food hygiene regulations
  • Managing and developing the current chefs brigade
  • Working closely with the Executive Head Chef to exceed our guests culinary expectations
  • Controlling costs throughout the Kitchen while ensuring consistency of service
  • Take pride in continuing a respectful kitchen culture from this hands on position
