About you:
- Experience in working within a high volume hotel/restaurant kitchen is essential
- Previous experience working as Head Chef or Sous Chef ready for promotion
- Keep cool, calm and collected in a fast paced kitchen
- Experience of all day dining is desirable
- A keen eye for detail, organisational skills, sound knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
Aim of the Head Chef role: As Head Chef, you will be a natural leader able to deal with the pressure of running a busy operation at The Dining Room throughout the full day's service.
Key responsibilities of the Head Chef:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food hygiene regulations
- Managing and developing the current chefs brigade
- Working closely with the Executive Head Chef to exceed our guests' culinary expectations
- Controlling costs throughout the Kitchen while ensuring consistency of service
- Take pride in continuing a respectful kitchen culture from this hands-on position
