Aim of the Turndown Assistant role is to maintain the high standards in the Hotel bedrooms and corridors. Chewton Glen is a true English original, featuring unique 72 bedrooms including 14 one of a kind Treehouses, an award-winning spa, and a state of the art cookery school.
Responsibilities of the Turndown Assistant include:
- To clean, maintain and turndown hotel bedrooms with pride to the standards set by the Head Housekeeper.
- To keep equipment in housekeeping office and bedrooms neat and presentable at all times and stocked to the correct standard.
- To complete tasks as delegated by the Head Housekeeper and work according to the extra cleaning list, understanding flexibility and teamwork.
- To ensure that store lists are completed on the given day and stores are put away.
- To report any maintenance faults and deal with lost property.
- To ensure that all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and report any faults to the Head Housekeeper.
All staff should be confident in understanding and executing the company's policies and procedures with respect to privacy, confidentiality and data protection.
About you:
- Experience in 4* or 5* hotels is desirable.
- Experience in housekeeping and/or cleaning is desirable.
- You will have a keen eye for detail, organisational skills and be well presented.
