As a Sushi Prep Chef at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you’ll play a key role in delivering the artistry and quality that define Nobu’s globally renowned dining experience. You will:
- Prepare, cut and present sushi dishes to Nobu’s exacting standards
- Ensure your station is set up and operating efficiently throughout service
- Follow Nobu recipes and maintain consistency across all dishes
- Guarantee strict hygiene, safety and sanitation practices at all times
- Store raw materials safely and maintain cleanliness in all areas
- Monitor Health & Safety compliance and report any issues promptly
- Maintain equipment in safe working condition and report breakdowns
- Handle allergy requests with care and communicate clearly with service teams
- Support and train new team members, fostering collaboration and excellence
- Attend team briefings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
- Demonstrate a proactive, positive approach to work and guest care
- Act as an ambassador for Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro
