  • Experience in managing a high level spa with leisure facilities
  • Evidence of successful team management
  • Ability to ensure standards are maintained for guests and members
  • Confident communicator with colleagues and guests at all levels

Aim of the Spa Manager role

As Head of Department, the aim is to manage the Chewton Glen spa and leisure facilities in a professional and profitable manner promoting and selling the Spa concept, membership and all other services.

Responsibilities of the Spa Manager

  • Take pride in ensuring a 5 star standard is maintained throughout the spa at all times
  • Be passionate in maintaining your team's service standards with all guests and members
  • Take ownership of the management and maintenance of all areas of the spa, reporting regularly to the General Manager and Spa Director
  • Ensure all reports, health and safety requirements and team training is complete as the business and legislation requires
  • Work closely with the Spa Director and spa teams on a daily basis, including therapists, reception and attendants
  • Support Duty Managers with rotas, columns and guests/membership queries
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of all spa facilities, products and services
