Aim of the Bar and Lounge Manager role

The Colonel's Bar and Lounge Manager mainly works in the bar and lounges, in addition to providing beverage service to the restaurant and bar guests they will lead the bar staff working on their shift. They will train new bar staff, assign opening and closing duties and monitor bar staff duties through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the F&B Director on a daily basis to ensure the bar and lounges performs to expected 5-star standard
  • Managing team hours through creation and management of rotas and by anticipating future business
  • Constantly seek out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests, leading by example to your team
  • Understand and develop the bar offering for the benefit of guests and team members
  • Have a constant awareness of business levels ensuring a 5 star service is provided at all times
  • Keep your team informed of any updates affecting the F&B department
  • Develop team members in their progression through leadership and training
  • Work well as part of a team, treating others like family and proactively seek out ways to lend a hand
  • Have an eye for detail and very high standards when it comes to our service, hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards
