The Bar Assistant supports the Sommelier Team by ensuring all wine service areas are fully prepared, stocked, organised, and maintained to the highest standards. Working closely with the Sommeliers, this role is essential in delivering a seamless luxury wine service experience by assisting with stock movement, cellar organisation, glassware preparation, and operational support throughout service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sommelier Team in the preparation and delivery of exceptional wine service
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of wine stations before and after service
- Prepare and polish wine glasses to the required standard
- Ensure wine service equipment is clean, organised, and readily available
- Support Sommeliers during service by retrieving wines and replenishing supplies as required
