As Sales Manager for The Mayfair Townhouse, you will be responsible for managing clients across all market segments, including Group, Corporate, and Leisure, while working closely with the centralised Iconic Hotels & Resorts commercial team.

About you as Sales Manager:

  • A strong sales background, ideally gained within hotels or the wider hospitality industry
  • Previous experience in a similar sales management role would be desirable
  • Naturally personable, confident and engaging, with real flair for building relationships
  • Thrives off working to different deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment
  • A clear and confident communicator who listens carefully to understand what our clients really need
  • Well organised, able to juggle priorities and work closely with our teams across the hotel and head office
  • Motivated, curious and genuinely enthusiastic about growing new business and long‑term partnerships

Aim of the Sales Manager role:

As the stand‑alone Sales Manager on site, you will have a strong focus on our group business. You will support the centralised Iconic Hotels and Resorts group and events team and act as the on‑property lead, assisting with site visits, FAM trips, and welcoming VIPs and group organisers.

What else you will be doing in the Sales Manager role:

  • Negotiate and manage key accounts while driving new corporate, leisure, and group business through targeted prospecting, account development, and client engagement, maximising revenue in collaboration with the Global Sales team
  • Support the Iconic Hotels & Resorts commercial team during the RFP process, ensuring all relevant property details are updated while sourcing and sharing new market leads
  • Serve as a true ambassador for the Townhouse through personality and flair, creating an exceptional and memorable experience for all clients
  • Maintain and regularly update the sales plan and activity trackers on Notion, ensuring all sales activity is accurately recorded and up to date
  • Analyse account and segment performance using tools such as Lighthouse, Agency360, STR, and relevant distribution platforms, providing clear, data‑driven insights to support business reviews and decision‑making
  • Ensure Salesforce is consistently maintained with all client engagement and activity
  • Continuously analyse the competitive set and local market landscape, sharing insights to enhance and align market positioning with the commercial team
