As a Group & Events Sales Manager, you will play a key reactive sales role in converting group and event enquiries into memorable experiences at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square. Working closely with clients from initial enquiry through to event delivery, you will combine commercial awareness, organisation and genuine hospitality to ensure every event reflects the quality and creativity of the Nobu brand.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys building relationships, driving revenue and creating seamless guest experiences within a luxury hotel environment.
- Manage group and event enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses
- Build strong relationships with clients and convert enquiries into confirmed business
- Conduct show rounds and client meetings showcasing the hotel’s event spaces and offerings
- Negotiate contracts, packages and event details to maximise revenue opportunities
- Maintain accurate forecasts, reports and Business on the Books updates
- Create detailed function sheets and BEOs for operational teams
- Work closely with operations, kitchen and events teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Support event planning from enquiry through to execution and post event follow up
- Supervise and support junior team members when required
- Identify opportunities to enhance service, event quality and guest satisfaction
- Maintain strong knowledge of the hotel’s food, beverage and events offerings
- Demonstrate a proactive and commercially focused approach to work
