About you as Maintenance Engineer:

  • Previous hotel experience ideally in 5 star properties
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Work diligently and effectively with excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new methods and other aspects of maintenance
  • Support wider team with tasks and deadlines

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Under guidance of Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief, provide proactive and reactive maintenance support to the hotel
  • Be able to respond to changes in job priorities at short notice
  • Carry out regular room walks and inspections to ensure any damage or updates are logged and addressed
  • Participate with engineering shift rota pattern as and when required
  • Be confident in completing any other reasonable task as required by the Chief Engineer
  • Be fully aware of the Hotel's Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations
