Privately owned, this luxury country house hotel & spa is located in the heart of the tranquil New Forest countryside and just minutes from the coast. Our 72 bedroom hotel has a spa, two restaurants and 14 stunning treehouses.
The aim of the role
As a member of the restaurant team at Chewton Glen, you are the reason that our Guests keep coming back for more. Our F&B Assistants work as part of a team to serve our Guests and create unforgettable experiences for them, exceeding expectations from breakfast right through to dinner, to ensure that every guest wants to return.
Waiter Responsibilities
- Constantly seek out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests and give them the attention that they deserve.
- Make it your mission to ensure that every guest leaves happy.
- Have expert knowledge of the food and wine that we offer and create opportunities to keep yourself up to date with our latest seasonal menus to drive sales.
- Confidently deliver the key restaurant processes and standards, including our service steps, and demonstrate these consistently, never cutting corners.
- Work well as part of a team, treating others like family and proactively seek out ways to lend a hand.
- Have an eye for detail and very high standards when it comes to our service, hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards.
- Show respect to those in authority and embrace and act on feedback positively, seeing it as an opportunity to learn.
- Maintain our standards at all times, keeping our restaurant and adjoining areas clean and tidy at all times.
