As Junior Sous Chef of the Kitchen team at 11 Cadogan Gardens & The Chelsea Townhouse - the only Relais and Chateaux properties in London - you are the reason our Guests keep coming back for more. What will you be doing?
You will be a natural team player able to deal with the pressure of running in a busy operation in both 11 Cadogan Gardens & The Chelsea Townhouse who enjoys sharing knowledge and passion about food.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assist the Head Chef during service for timing and progress of all dishes, showing ownership and responsibility for the Kitchen operation in the absence of the HOD.
- To be passionate in assisting with the training, induction and development of the kitchen brigade and be confident in ensuring that in the preparation and presentation of food, the highest standards are maintained at all times.
- To keep the Head Chef appraised of any problems within the Kitchen using your integrity. These would include staff, Health & Safety, equipment, and any other areas connected with the Kitchen organisation.
- To be confident in all policies and procedures relevant to Health and Safety and Food safety Standards ensuring the compliance of the latter at all times.
- You will be a team worker, willing to assist your colleagues when required and working with the F&B team to ensure a smooth interdepartmental relationship is maintained at all times.
