Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure high quality curriculum provision and effective teaching, which promotes learning
  • To support our young people, both as a teacher and a tutor to achieve in learning and life
  • To support adults to develop professionally
  • To carry out professional duties as both a teacher and a tutor to ensure a high-quality offer to our students

Responsibilities (in addition to those identified within the Teachers' standards):

  • To have a significant overview and input of the subject assessment cycle
  • To lead and develop co-curricular within the subject
  • To promote and enable collaboration both internally within History and via external partnerships across the Lighthouse Schools Partnership and beyond
