Location: Southampton Airport

Salary: UK mainland base pay scale starts at £57,575, with annual increments to year 11.

Hours: Full or Part time, with hours as per our CAA approved FTL scheme.

  • MCC Certificate
  • AUPRT Certificate or evidence of training

Our clients are now looking for Captains to join their teams on the DHC6 Twin Otter and operate on our regional route networks based in either the UK mainland or in Guernsey, The Channel Islands. You will be operating multi crew our DHC6 300 series fleet, predominantly on our regional networks either between the UK mainland and St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly, or UK mainland and The Channel Islands, but with opportunity to exchange and to operate ad hoc charter operations as required.

Job Requirements: We are interested to hear from applicants who meet the essential criteria and can demonstrate desirable experience.

Essential:

  • Hold a valid UK issued part-FCL-ATPL (full or frozen)
  • Hold a valid UK issued Class 1 medical with at least 3 months validity
  • Hold a valid instrument rating on a multi-engine aircraft with at least 3 months validity
  • Completed an MCC course
  • Completed an AUPRT course
  • Minimum 1500 hours total flight time with 500 hours multi engine
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • Be able to supply references from employers for the last 5 years for airside security pass

Desirable:

  • Hold a current or previous DHC6 Twin Otter type rating
  • Flight experience in turbo props
  • Flight experience in light multi engine aircraft such as King Air, Shorts Skyvan, Islander, Trislander
  • Flight experience in tail wheel aircraft, gliding or similar
  • Experience in regional airlines, small operators, island communities, freight, medivac or similar operations
