Description of the task:
- All individual activities are carried out in compliance with type-specific specifications such as construction documents, standards, regulations, occupational and environmental protection guidelines, etc.
- Leading and coordinating employees (within the shift)
- Organise/monitor workflows and manufacturing processes
- Creation of documents (e.g. test protocols, incoming findings, work plans, etc.)
- Carrying out incoming findings on aircraft and components; according to operational specifications
- Document (in paper form) and check your own and others' activities within the framework of the Documented Worker Examination
- Painting/application of primers/topcoats of various paint systems/manufacturers using high-pressure spray guns, low-pressure spray guns and electrostatic spraying processes
- Application/positioning (gluing/painting) of customer-specific layouts; according to specifications (e.g. drawings, etc.)
- Application/positioning of labels (e.g. technical labels, etc.)
- Carrying out demanding polishing work, manually and using polishing machines
- Carrying out touch-up painting work using brushes and spraying tools
- Operating and maintaining systems (e.g. paint shops, ventilation systems, etc.); according to operational specifications
- Covering/masking (manually) of aircraft/components (e.g. Challenger, Global express, etc.) with cover piers, foils, etc.; according to specifications (e.g. AMM, cover drawings, etc.)
- Carrying out grinding work on aircraft/components (e.g. Challenger, Global express, etc.) using grinding equipment (e.g. eccentric grinding machines, etc.)
- Carrying out paint stripping work; Application/removal of chemical paint strippers manually or by means of high-pressure sprayers
- Cleaning of aircraft/components manually using (in)organic solvents and cleaning rags, etc.
- Application of corrosion inhibitors using spray tools or manually with cleaning rags
- Carrying out filler and filler work using fillers and spraying tools
- Application/insertion of sealants (seal) by means of compressed air guns, brushes, etc.
- Carrying out simple maintenance and cleaning operations; according to specifications
