About the role of Assistant Estimator:

The Assistant Estimator role is a key role within the Chevron Group, assisting the commercial and operational team in ensuring efficient contract delivery and assisting with the preparation and compilation of 'in contract' quotations.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Estimator:

  • Managing and building Client relationships
  • Managing client portals, inclusive of prompt responses / data upload
  • Reviewing client challenges in relation to submissions
  • Liaising with Operational Leads to understand scheme requirements
  • Reviewing Traffic Management Design
  • Compiling Target Cost backup substantiation sheet for clients
  • Undertake review and pricing compensation events
  • Attend weekly and monthly update meetings between commercial and operations
  • Updating of scheme and contract register
