Traffic Management Operative , you'll be responsible for delivering safe and efficient traffic management solutions on road networks and construction projects across the region. Your duties will include: Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management systems Setting up road closures, diversions, pedestrian walkways, signage, barriers, and traffic lights Ensuring all works comply with Chapter 8 and safety legislation Carrying out site checks and maintaining high safety standards Supporting and mentoring new trainees within the team Working collaboratively to deliver projects safely and efficiently Every day is different, and your work will directly contribute to keeping people safe on our roads.
Essential Requirements Lantra Qualifications:
SLG Unit 2 M1/M2 M3/M4 M5 /M6 Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points Positive, proactive, and safety-focused attitude Ability to work flexibly, including nights, weekends, and working away when required Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and any required medical assessments Knowledge of Chapter 8 regulations
