Hours: General hours of work are 48 hours per week and include all night shift working. In addition to your 48 hours, overtime is also available.

Your role – HGV Class 2 Driver / Trainee IPV Operative (12AB)
As a key member of our team, you will begin your journey as an HGV Class 2 Driver while training to become a fully qualified IPV Operative. You will:
- Drive an Impact Protection Vehicle (IPV) as part of traffic management operations.
- Work towards achieving your 12AB skilled worker qualification.
- Support live works through traffic counts, client and subcontractor communications, and accurate reporting of timings and near misses.
What are we looking for?
Essential:
- Licence: HGV Class 2 / Category C
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations
- Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.
- Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results).
- Attitude: Positive, “can‑do” mindset.
- Skills: Adaptability, flexibility and strong attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Full or Trainee LANTRA 12AB qualification
- IPV qualification
