Our High Speed division is looking for a Graduate Business Analyst who’s eager to learn, confident working with data, and motivated to help drive operational and financial performance across our business. You’ll be joining a team where your insights matter. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, regional teams, and operational staff to ensure decisions are backed by accurate, meaningful analysis.
Who is Chevron Traffic Management: In simple terms, Chevron Traffic Management is the company that sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversions routes or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. This involves putting out road cones, signage, temporary traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and barriers. Our work is visible all over the country. The next time you are out and about and see roadworks, have a look at the signage. It is possible that Chevron Traffic Management put them there. It is, of course, much more complicated than that. It involves consulting, planning, designing, estimating and liaising with our suppliers and our customers to ensure that our schemes are fit for purpose. About the role:
You’ll play a key role in supporting our High Speed division through high quality analysis, reporting, and process improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing analytical and business support to improve financial and operational performance
- Supporting Operations with data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Gathering, interpreting, and presenting business data to inform decision making
- Embedding effective procedures and controls to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting
- Analysing and reporting on business performance
- Ensuring consistent data management and reporting across all High Speed locations
- Maintaining data integrity within the company’s in-house works management system
- Analysing supplier invoicing and financial data, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Liaising with finance teams and suppliers to resolve discrepancies
- Supporting Operations and Finance with data-driven insights and performance reporting
- Assisting Senior Managers with analytical tasks and commercial contract management
- Supporting onboarding and agency processes through accurate data checks
- Ensuring procurement and purchase order processes meet company standards
- Sharing analytical insights and best practices to support team development
What We’re Looking For:
You don’t need years of experience, but you do need the right mindset and foundation. We’re looking for someone who is:
- Good understanding of business analysis, data management and administrative responsibilities.
- Organised, diligent, and thorough in their approach
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high personal standards
- Confident in communicating and presenting data clearly
- Strong in interpersonal skills, able to liaise effectively at all levels
- Flexible, helpful, and willing to get stuck in
- Commercially aware with a desire to grow your understanding
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint etc) and ability to work with other business management systems
- Analytical, curious, and open to digital innovation.
- Full UK driving licence
It would also be great if you had:
- Qualification/working towards a qualification in Business Analysis, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, or ERP system
