Responsibilities: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative to ensure the efficient operation of our yard & depot. Duties would include:

  • Ensuring the Yard is in a tidy condition and meets Health & Safety policies.
  • Managing Stock Levels whilst ensuring stock leaving the yard is clean and fit for purpose.
  • General yard maintenance.
  • Traffic Management Sign Manufacturing.
  • Distributing work to Traffic Management Operatives where they have been assigned to work a day in the yard.
  • Ensuring all Operatives adhere to yard rules and procedures.

What good looks like for a Yard Operative:

  • Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points - manual licence only.
  • Right to work in the UK unsponsored.
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
